The DeltaV-Seal is like no other gasket, and while replacing semi-metallic gaskets understanding how and why it performs so successfully is critical to unlocking the full potential of a bolted flange joint sealed with a DeltaV-Seal. Our Engineering and Technology team, working with the University of Wroclaw and West Pomeranian University have written a paper published in MDPI to further develop the industries understanding of metal to metal sealing, and further understand the DeltaV-Seal's performance when compared to semi-metallic gaskets.
The published paper which you can view here helps those curious understand how the DeltaV-Seal forms such a tight and durable seal. The paper explains how the metal-to-metal DeltaV-Seal is so tight and durable and procedures for determining compression and leakage characteristics.
